Citizen
The Citizen company began in 1924. Its founding fathers chose the name Citizen so it would be "close to the hearts of people everywhere". Shortly afterwards, the company adopted its present day name of the Citizen Watch Company.
The last 85 years have seen Citizen rise to become the worlds largest watch manufacturer - a position that Citizen have held since 1986.
Recently, Citizen have pioneered their new Eco Drive technology, developing a line of watches powered entirely by light!
